BAY AREA—So it turns out that Ike's Place has a secret menu with 50 different sandwiches on it (besides the 80+ on their regular menu). Thrillist was given exclusive access to the entire list, complete with the signature cheeky monikers like Sexy Boy, Kirsten Dunst, and Ex-Roommate. [Thrillist SF]

EAST OAKLAND—Good news: Oakland 'cue spot Genny's BBQ is back in action after suffering a fire last May. The menu remains the same, and new options include fried catfish and BBQ brisket po'boys. [EBX]

SOMATara, the Indian Thai spot on 2nd Street, is now under new ownership and has been redubbed North India. It specializes, unsurprisingly, in North Indian food. [Tablehopper]

DOWNTOWN OAKLANDTribune Tavern is one year old tomorrow night, and they're celebrating with $1 "guilty fries" (a poutine variant), drink specials, and DJs from 5 pm onward. Reporters should take note: in honor of the building's newspaper roots, the first 50 media employees, with business cards, to drop by will get a free drink. [EaterWire]
