Dinner Wire

After a mutual decision to split with evening pop-up Chaparral a month back, Kate's Kitchen was back on its regular brunching schedule for a while. Now, owner Hasan Khaber is taking another crack at dinner, with a menu that's less high-end than Chaparral's. It features fried chicken, shrimp tostadas, kale salad, and spicy shrimp and grits, among other options, and beer and wine is available. Check it out from 5-9:30 pm, Tuesday-Saturday. [Hoodline]
