Rent prices, droughts, the ever-looming specter of earthquakes: we're all under a lot of stress these days. But the city may be getting some relief in the form of Kava Lounge San Francisco (901 Divisadero), which will open in late summer. Owner Alva Caple touts kava, a Polynesian plant with sedative qualities, as "a miracle cure for anxiety," and will offer it in shots or herbal cocktails.
