Mr. Holmes, the bakery from Australia-bred Ry Stephen, has become a presence in local cafes of late, doling out its brioche doughnuts, muffins, cookies, and savory rolls at the likes of Ritual, Ma'velous, Stanza, and Saint Frank. Stephens has now inked a lease on a bakery of his own (1042 Larkin St.), where he'll offer contemporary French pastries. Expect it in July or August. [SF Mag]
