4505's Secret Burger Has Fried Mac and Cheese on Top

Absurd burgers have become something of a local pastime in SF, as restaurateurs attempt to outdo one another with grilled-cheese buns, patties stuffed with potato chips, and burger variations on other foods (hello, Monte Cristo burger). But for sheer caloric impact, it's hard to beat the off-menu burger at recently opened 4505 Burgers & BBQ. Ryan Farr, already well-known for his excellent cheeseburgers, is serving a "Big Mac" that consists of a double cheeseburger with the addition of an enormous wedge of his frankaroni (that would be fried mac and cheese studded with chunks of Farr's housemade hot dogs) in the middle, all served on a pain de mie bun for $18. Considering that 4505's window serves burgers until 2 am on weekends, we can't imagine there's any level of drunkenness this thing won't cure.
