After 19 years in business, The Slanted Door is finally getting its own cookbook (which is well-timed with its James Beard win for Outstanding Restaurant this year). Eater National has a first look at Charles Phan's second book (Vietnamese Home Cooking dropped in 2012), which will include classic recipes like rack of lamb with tamarind sauce, an extensive cocktail section, and other modernized Vietnamese fare.
