The latest arrival to the Mid-Market land grab brings caffeine in their wake. Marin-based Equator Coffees & Teas has signed a lease for a location in the Warfield Building (at 6th and Market), right across the street from Show Dogs and complete with outdoor seating. While that corner still has its share of issues (see the Pearl's dropout), this news, the replacement of Pearl's with Homeskillet, and the continued life of Show Dogs and Machine Deli are starting to presage a turnaround.
