You'd think that having a car crash through your front window would entitle you to a fast pass on permits to reopen, but that hasn't been the case for Mission bakery Joey and Pat's, which is now in its third month of waiting after a drunk driver caused structural damage to the bakery. While insurance is covering construction, there's still the issue of rent and lost revenue, and electrical permits have yet to go through.
