Screen Shot 2014-06-13 at 11.38.39 AM.pngA week after Hubert Keller announced the closure of Fleur de Lys, many have wondered why the iconic restaurant is shuttering. It turns out Keller turned 60 yesterday, and he and wife Chantal think this is a good time to step back. They plan to sell not only the business but the building as well, which will offer the TBD new tenant the rare opportunity to be their own landlord. In the meantime, reservation requests before the June 28 farewell have been so crazy that the Kellers had to hire a second reservationist. [Tablehopper]
