$300 Brunch Concept Announces Chef, Location

New, 2 comments

Remember BRVNCH, the $300 brunch concept designed for "San Francisco's elite party crowd"? They've now got a location, a chef, and a menu lined up for the opening event on June 29th.

If you'll recall, BRVNCH promises trapeze artists, go-go dancers and DJs, in addition to bottomless mimosas, Bloody Marys and a meal from an "exclusive chef," with VIP tickets going for a lofty $2,500 (20% of proceeds will go to benefit City of Dreams, with a different charity for each event).

Held at Venue 550, a Design District event space, the June 29th debut will feature food from NYC chef Ma-Le Au, a former competitive figure skater who's worked at major New York restaurants (Marea, Momofuku) as well as hotels and casinos like Atlantic City's Revel. She'll be preparing a six-course tapas-style meal, with sample dishes that include a rhubarb maple compote, lemon vanilla blini, duck bacon lardons and chimichurri-marinated skirt steak. Though it has yet to be confirmed, we're told Maven's bar team will be on Bloody Mary duty (they're not).

BRVNCH's first SF event will be its only edition that isn't members-only, so if you'd like to check out what $300 (or $2,500) will get you and report back with your findings, tickets are still available here.
