Opening Alert

Bayview residents welcomed a new cafe and bike shop to the neighborhood last week with the arrival of VeloBrews (4634 3rd St.), complete with treats from a host of local purveyors. Look out for coffee from Emeryville's Ubuntu, cookies from Salty Sweet, baked goods from La Victoria, bagels from Sour Flour and jams from Jake's Castro Kitchen at the new spot, which is open daily from early until 4 pm.
