Here's a history project everyone can get behind: UC Berkeley's Regional Oral History Office is chronicling the history of the West Coast cocktail. They plan to enlist a group of experts for a series of long-form (up to 25-hour!) interviews, which will become an exhibit at New Orleans' Museum of the American Cocktail and a possible book. David Wondrich, Jennifer Colliau, Claire Sprouse, Julio Bermejo, and Thad Vogler are among the interviewees. Help support them via their Indiegogo campaign, with rewards like a Trou Normand spirits seminar. [EBX]
