Urban Putt, the Mission mini-golf palace, is about a month in on South Van Ness, and now they've finally managed to score their long-sought full liquor license, which was in jeopardy for some time. Though the Bon Vivants parted ways with the project as consultants after the license was delayed, Elixir vet Colin Carroll (who designed the course's original "loophole" cocktail menu) has stepped in with a variety of light, thirst-quenching drinks. The course still faces one more hurdle: as of now, booze (which was set to come in "adult sippy cups") isn't permitted on the fairway. Until they get that sorted out with the authorities, you can enjoy a drink in the downstairs bar or with dinner in the upstairs restaurant, UP @ Urban Putt.
Here's the cocktail menu (all drinks $11):
Wicked Game - Hayman's Old Tom Gin, Carpano Bianco, cardamom-lemon gastrique, Meyer lemon bitters
Sloe Gin Fizz - Spirit Works Sloe Gin, Bummer and Lazarus Gin, lemon, egg whites, orange fizz
Rowdy Love - Suerte's blanco, Lillet blanc, lemon, float of garnacha
Streets of Baltimore - Bulleit bourbon, Swedish Punsch, amaro, lemon and Angostura bitters
Black Rose - Rye, orange peel, sugar, Angostura bitters, Mexican Fernet
Fillmore Slim - Vodka, sparkling lemonade, ruby port, mint
Breakfast Can Wait - Vodka, creme de violette, orange curaçao, lemon
Anejo Daiquiri - Ron Abuelo añejo rum, lime, sugar
Cat Call - Cava, Cocchi Americano, rhubarb-pink peppercorn syrup
Young Turks - Cava, housemade peach and sage cordial
Pickleback ($7) - Old Bardstown bourbon shot and house pickle brine shot
