Ownership Shuffles

Changes are afoot at perennially in-the-red Yoshi's San Francisco, which has been sold by original owner Yoshie Akiba to a new management group, Fillmore Live Entertainment. The company plans to rename the venue, retool the music offering, and give the currently Japanese-themed restaurant a total interior and menu makeover, courtesy of Bob Burke of Ovation Consulting (The Forge, Gordon Biersch). The Oakland location will continue on with its original ownership. [SF Mercury News]
