Burrito Wars

Nate Silver can predict the outcomes of elections, but can he find America's best burrito? That's the goal he's set, hiring food writers like Anna Maria Barry-Jester, Gustavo Arellano, and even Eater's own Bill Addison to sample burritos from every corner of the U.S. (but mostly California) in order to choose a winner. Based on his Yelp data, El Farolito is the best-ranked burrito in the country, and HRD Coffee Shop and Taqueria Cancun are also in the top 15; expect them to make a strong showing, but only taste will tell. More info to come. [FiveThirtyEight]
