There's a new ramen outlet in Japantown, as Mountain View's Shalala has expanded to San Francisco (1737 Buchanan St.) with a location that's softly open now (the grand opening will be mid-June). Chef Nobu Iwahashi will bring a few new surprises to the new eatery, including a fresh ramen broth recipe for a more authentic tonkotsu. [Tablehopper]
