Pizzaiolo's Anniversary Bash; Seven Stills Tasting at Fauna

TEMESCALPizzaiolo turns nine this weekend, and they're celebrating with a blowout bash featuring two live bands, a spit-roasted pig, cash bars, and of course, plenty of pizza. The event is Sunday, 2-7 pm, and it's open to the public. [EaterWire]

UPTOWN OAKLAND—Meanwhile, over at Flora's Fauna Bar, the gents of Seven Stills will be hosting a distillery showcase, featuring a pairing of their Whipnose whiskey and the Pac Brew Labs IPA it was distilled from. Drinkers can also enjoy a flight of all their spirits (the other two are vodka and a chocolate oatmeal stout whiskey), or special Fauna cocktails made with Seven Stills vodka. NOPA/WESTERN ADDITION—The pastry chefs of Le Dix-Sept Patisserie are popping up at Whisk on Sunday from 11 am-3 pm, offering Four Barrel coffee in the courtyard to complement their summer vegetable quiches, Paris-SF cream puffs, apricot-rosemary tarts, and other treats. [EaterWire]

THE MISSION—Spend tomorrow afternoon getting to know some of Italy's best female winemakers at a special 18 Reasons event, featuring Elisa Bronca of Sorelle Bronca, Matilde Poggi of Le Fraghe, Angela Fronti of Istine, and Cecilia Piccin of Grifalco.
