Bauer is definitely having a love affair with the Bar Agricole folks; just two months after he elevated the mothership to three stars, he's bestowed the same rating on sister spot Trou Normand. "The food embraces you like a warm hug," particularly Salvatore Cracco's "meticulously crafted" charcuterie, "the soul of the menu," and "excellent" roast pork. Add in cocktails that are "some of the best in the Bay Area," and you have a winner. Three stars. [Chron]
