SOMA—Are you a coffee obsessive? Then you'll want to be on board for this Saturday's CoffeeCon, featuring classes, cuppings, and education from everyone from Santa Cruz roaster Verve to Aeropress inventor Alan Adler. It'll be at Terra Gallery, 9 am-4 pm; tickets are $29. [EaterWire]

SOMA—The Eat Drink SF festival is just around the corner, which means the Chron's annual blowout benefit dinner for the SF Food Bank is also approaching. This year's theme is new inductees to the Bauer Top 100, including Tyler Florence, Michael Chiarello, Nicolas Delarocque (Nico), Jennifer Puccio (The Cavalier), and more. It goes down at The Cavalier on Sunday, for a whopping $325/person. [EaterWire]

RUSSIAN HILLStones Throw's Eat Like a Chef, Drink Like a Somm series continues on Monday, with a double dose of chefs and somms from neighbors 1760 and Verbena.
