Dinner Wire

After a successful lunch-only early run, Jay Porter's casual Oakland spot The Half Orange is now ready for prime time. It's now open Monday-Friday, 11:30 am-8 pm, with a full menu of sausages, burgers, fried cheese curds, and Ensenada-style beef tongue. The liquor license is still underway, but they'll have craft brews once it arrives. Porter's forthcoming second spot Salsipuedes, in North Oakland, is currently targeting late 2014. [Tablehopper]
