The Galley Departs Clooney's; Bar Agricole's Cookout

MISSION—After over three years operating out of the tiny ship's kitchen inside Clooney's, The Galley has decided to go the mobile pop-up route, departing the bar for good on Friday July 11th. [Mission Mission]

SOMA—If you're planning on hanging around the city tomorrow, Bar Agricole is hosting a 4th of July summer cookout, complete with all-you-can-eat oysters, housemade sausages, punch, beer and more. Tickets are $50 ($55 at the door), the event runs 4:30-9:30pm, and 10% of proceeds will go to Save Drakes Bay. [EaterWire]

MISSION—On your way over, stop by Pig & Pie for another local Independence Day celebration. This one runs from noon "until the pig runs out," and $28 gets you an all-American selection of fire roasted pig, corn, potato salad, watermelon and apple pie. [EaterWire]
