Truffle Season at SPQR; IndulgeSF at Mighty

LOWER PAC HEIGHTS—Australian truffle season is in full swing, and SPQR's Matt Accarrino is celebrating with a special five-course tasting menu in collaboration with Frank Brunacci of The Truffle & Wine Co., served now through the end of August. On the menu are dishes like housemade pasta with black truffle and truffle-stuffed game hen with chanterelle and savoy cabbage: the menu is $108 per person, plus $62 with wine pairings. [EaterWire]

MISSION—If you haven't yet gotten a chance to sample spots like Stones Throw and Trou Normand, head over to IndulgeSF at Mighty tomorrow night, where there'll bites from a handful of local chefs, drinks, and a cross-media performance by Particle Circus, all to benefit local nonprofit Hayes Valley Bakeworks. Event starts at 8pm, and $60 tickets include appetizers, a cocktail and a champagne toast. [EaterWire]
