Dine Out, Raise Some Funds For Fire-Damaged Manresa

As Manresa begins the long process of recovering from this month's devastating blaze, some friends of the two-Michelin-starred restaurant are holding special events to raise funds for the remodel. (While David Kinch and co. had insurance to cover the fire damage, lost revenue and employee salaries are still major financial concerns.) The first event is tonight at RN74, where Rajat Parr, Gregory Condes, and Sandhi Wines will be donating bottles to the restaurant, with all proceeds going towards Manresa's recovery. Look for the special wines on the list; no changes to the food menu.

Then, on Saturday, September 20th, Manresa's chef de cuisine (and Eater Young Guns winner) Jessica Largey will be cooking an al fresco dinner at the restaurant's main produce supplier, Love Apple Farms. The six-course Eco-Feast will include wine, hors d'oeuvres, live music, and a farm tour, but the beneficiary won't be Manresa—instead, the restaurant and farm are handing over the proceeds to the Museums of Los Gatos. Tickets are $200 before August 1, and $225 thereafter. We'll have more on Manresa fundraisers as they're announced.
