The latest pit stop on Bauer's old-school dining journey is Nick's Restaurant, which has been serving Pacifica since 1927. The "classic mid-century decor...looks like Las Vegas, circa 1955," and "the food is good." Bauer's top recommendations: "very good" fish and chips and a "really good" fruit cobbler.
