Trick Dog's New Menu Launches Today—It's an SF Map

The biannual menu change at Trick Dog is always a hotly anticipated event, especially given that the Bon Vivants put so much effort into designing super-cool interactive menus. After kicking off with a Pantone color book, then moving into a record album and a zodiac wheel, the latest edition is the Tourist Menu, a beautiful trifold 11x15" map with illustrations by Jack W. Schneider. Each of the drinks on the map is named for a San Francisco landmark, including the Sutro Baths, Kezar Stadium, City Lights, Cliff House, and Lombard Street. Considering the bar's longstanding issues with customers swiping menus, this attractive new version might start disappearing quickly.

Here's the full lineup of drinks:

1. Cliff House: Tequila Ocho plata, chamomile wine, Velvet Falernum, chocolate
2. Sutro Baths: El Dorado 3, Pampero, & Don Q anejo rums, Sightglass coffee, grapefruit, fenugreek, lime
3. Kezar Stadium: Beefeater 24 gin, Batavia Arrack, orange, rhubarb, lemongrass, lime
4. Painted Ladies: Absolut Vodka, melon soda, mint, honey, lime
5. Lombard Street: Pierde Almas mezcal, Ancho Reyes chile liqueur, manzanilla sherry, pineapple, cucumber, lime
6. Alcatraz: Four Roses small-batch bourbon, apple, lavender, kombu, horseradish
7. Coit Tower: Rittenhouse rye, raspberry, thyme, lemon, cider
8. City Lights: Ford's gin, Dolin blanc vermouth, Linie aquavit, strawberry, shortbread
9. Fugazi Bank: Bulleit rye, Tariquet armagnac, Punt e Mes, Tempus Fugit creme de noyaux, smoked cherry
10. Dragon Gate: Campo de Encanto acholado pisco, mucat, Sichuan pepper, ginger, lemon, egg white
11. Castro Theatre: Black Grouse scotch, Lillet, Gran Classico, Spirit Works sloe gin, dandelion
12. Mission Dolores: Atlantico white rum, Amaro Montenegro, cocoa butter, basil, plum, lime, tonic
13. Golden Fire Hydrant: Calle 33 reposado tequila, Tempus Fugit Kina l'Avion d'Or, lychee, sarsparilla, lime

Update, 4:36 pm: As if that wasn't enough, Trick Dog is introducing shots for the first time, including homemade versions of Fireball and Rumple Minze (yes, really). Here's the lineup ($5 each):

"Fireball": Fighting Cock bourbon, Becherovka, cinnamon
Blindwinder: Pierde Almas mezcal, Amaro Montenegro
"Rumple Minze": Oloroso sherry, creme de menthe
Chilechoke: Ancho Reyes chile liqueur, Cynar

The bar will also be offering free SF postcards based on the 13 landmarks for which the cocktails are named, which you can mail to your loved ones. Fill one out and drop it in the box near the door, and they'll take care of the postage (limit one per person).
