Rebirths

A lengthy closure for renovations had fans of Hayes Valley's Talbot Cafe concerned that it was gone for good, but never fear: it's returned today with a new look and new menu. Sightglass coffee is now pouring, Three Twins ice cream is getting scooped up, and there's a weekly lunch special (currently a chickpea ragu with rosemary rice).
