SF-based Nomiku, which makes a home sous-vide machine, is now crowdfunding an updated version of their device. It clips into the side of a pot, allowing for immersion-circulator action without a specialized water bath, but the real killer app of the new design is, well, an app, featuring recipes and demonstrations from the likes of Chris Cosentino, Saison's Joshua Skenes, and renowned Atlanta chef Hugh Acheson. The device and app together are $139. [Kickstarter]
