Town Hall, Salt House Folks Opening a FiDi Coffee Bar

Mitchell and Steve Rosenthal already have three FiDi institutions in their portfolio: Town Hall, Anchor & Hope, and Salt House. But like fellow FiDi power player Dennis Leary, they want to roast their own coffee. As Tablehopper reports, the brothers have teamed up with Caffe Greco's Hanna Suleiman to create a new coffee brand, La Capra Coffee, which will include a cafe in the Financial District.

La Capra will feature the Rosenthals' own Italian-inspired espresso blend, as well as a drip coffee, both roasted locally. They'll also offer sandwiches made to order, and are seeking a way to serve Town Hall's famous beignets (which will be tough, as the space doesn't have a kitchen). Sagan Piechota Architecture (Piccino, Blue Bottle) is doing the space; it'll have dark wood and a small amount of seating. Expect it to arrive in October.
