Boon Eat + Drink Expands; Watch the Earthquake in Napa

GUERNEVILLE—The popular Boon Eat + Drink is in expansion mode: owner Crista Luedtke is opening El Barrio, a Latin-themed cocktail and snack spot, next month. It'll serve easygoing bites like tacos, chips and guac, and queso, and serve as a de facto waiting room for crazy-busy Boon. [SFist]

EMBARCADEROFog City is now offering its entire lunch and dinner menus to go, as well as four special box lunches designed to be eaten in the nearby park: tuna salad, sesame chicken salad, fried chicken, and their burger and fries ($14-17). UPTOWN OAKLANDHopscotch is hosting a pig pickin' event tomorrow (6-10 pm) in their next-door annex. $20 buys a plate of pork from a whole roasted hog, summer salad, corn bread and a Manzanita altbier from Fort Point Brewing.
