BROADWAY—Tout Sweet Patisserie's Yigit Pura was apparently so fired up about Neil Patrick Harris' acclaimed Broadway performance in Hedwig and the Angry Inch that he made a macaron about it. The "Hedwig Schmidt" has bourbon-orange marmalade ganache and a brandied cherry center, but it's probably most notable for being covered in edible red glitter. You can get a single one in-store for $2, or a box of 14 online for $30, beginning next Monday. [EaterWire]
MISSION—BuzzFeed has compiled a list of the essential ice cream spots across the globe, and our own Bi-Rite Creamery is on it. Not that the lines need any help. [BuzzFeed]
NAPA—The Thomas is welcoming Chris Cosentino and PDX's Adam Sappington (Country Cat) tonight for a special "Pork + Fork + Cork" dinner, featuring crazy pork dishes like pig's liver creme caramel. Dinner is $150, and includes wine, cocktails, and an afterparty. [EaterWire]
FINANCIAL DISTRICT—Want a frosty cone on your lunch break? Keep your eyes out for Eatwell Farm's Ice Box truck, which will be serving soft serve every Monday in August, from 11 am-3 pm, at the Fremont Plaza Farmer's Market (50 Fremont St.) [EaterWire]
