In further proof that San Francisco will wait in line for pretty much anything, FiveThirtyEight has brought a hailstorm of lines to bear on La Taqueria after naming it America's Best Burrito in an extensive bracket. Always a popular spot, La Taq now boasts 30-to-40-person queues regularly extending down the block, with Yelpers reporting wait times of 30 minutes to an hour just to order a burrito. They even ran out of their famous carnitas on Friday.
Here are a few more snaps of the burrito-crazed masses lining up at La Taq:

The burrito bracket bs can be summed up thusly: "idiots spend lots of time and money to take the joy out of eating burritos"

Though as some taqueria fans have discovered, there is one bonus of the line craziness:
Best part of those mammoth lines at La Taqueria? Shorter lines at El Farolito, Cancun and [name your favorite burrito place in the Mission].
