Westfield Offers Takeout; Lady Bartenders Throw Down

Speedy ordering at the mall and parties to check out this weekend.

MID-MARKET—Craving something from the Westfield San Francisco Centre? The mall now offers advance-order takeout and downtown delivery from most of its restaurants (including M.Y. China, LarkCreekSteak, Cupola Pizzeria, and Beard Papa) via a website and app. For each purchase through October 6, diners are also entered to win a cooking class and dinner for six with Martin Yan. MISSION—This Sunday, talented female bartenders Jackie Patterson Brenner, Brooke Arthur, and Jill Webster are teaming up for a special event, That Time of the Month, at Laszlo. They'll be offering $5 cocktails and a DJ; admission is $10, and the proceeds (plus any tips) will benefit La Cocina. [EaterWire]

OAKLAND—Temescal's Doña Tomas is turning 15 this weekend, which of course calls for a quinceañera. On Sunday, they'll be serving up quesadillas, sopes, taquitos, ceviche, and guacamole, plus plenty of house margaritas, for a very reasonable (and appropriate $15). Grab tickets at the door; the event goes from 5-10 pm. [EaterWire]

SAN MATEO—Want to sample new restaurant Game before it arrives in SF? Its big brother, All Spice, is holding a special preview dinner, featuring wild boar, partridge, and more from chef Zach Freitas. It goes down Monday, September 22; tickets are $79. [EaterWire]
