Oakland's Captain & Corset Shutters

After only four months, Captain and Corset has called it quits in uptown Oakland. The project from Ike's executive Sam Patel and co-owner Paul Fitzpatrick appears to have been troubled, with consulting chef Sophina Uong (Pican) and GM Carlos Nieto splitting after two months, and the branding/design consultant saying she was never paid for her work. Patel and Fitzpatrick are currently looking into getting full liquor for the space, after which they'll decide what to do with it. [EBX]
