Top Chef: Just Desserts winner and freshly-published cookbook author Yigit Pura has long had expansion plans for his Union Square bakery Tout Sweet Patisserie, and so it makes sense that he's following the likes of Pizzeria Delfina, Tacolicious, and Sam's Chowder House to tech-moneyed Palo Alto. Tout Sweet is planning to open a second location at Town & Country Village, which has outposts of Gott's Roadside, Belcampo, and Asian Box, among others; it'll be a small space, at 700 square feet, but will stock all the favorites from the flagship, including macarons, parfaits, tarts, cookies, and take-home treats like meringues and dessert sauces. It'll also feature something new: chilled cookie dough and pie crusts for at-home baking. The second Tout Sweet should arrive in November.
