Man Lines in the FiDi; A.G. Ferrari Set to Reopen

Plus: a macaron petition and a hit L.A. baker's Tartine guest appearance.

SAN FRANCISCO—The single-serving Tumblr Man Lines, which is a series of photographs of all-male lines at FiDi lunch spots like The Melt, Specialty's, and JapaCurry, is a priceless document of SF's current cultural moment. [EaterWire]

SOMA/LAUREL HEIGHTS/CASTRO—All three of A.G. Ferrari's stores, which have been closed for a revamp, will reopen this Saturday, September 27. The new stores now have an updated look, menu, and wine selection. As a promotion for the first weekend, they'll be handing out buy one sandwich, get one free cards. [EaterWire]

SOMA—Macaron purveyors Chantal Guillon were set to open this week, but an onerous change-of-use notification for the city is setting them back (they don't sell alcohol, so the last-minute requirement was an unexpected one). They're asking fans to sign a petition so they make their opening date. [EaterWire]

MISSION—Mega-hit L.A. bakery Huckleberry is headed to SF on their book tour, and in honor of the visit, Tartine Bakery will be offering a selection of their treats (like scones, maple-bacon biscuits, and blueberry brioche) all day on Monday, from 8 am-7 pm. Huckleberry baking mastermind Zoe Nathan will do a signing from 4-6 pm, and Tartine will serve a special cocktail in her honor. [EaterWire]
