There's nothing more satisfying than a hot cup of coffee over a campfire, which may be why Mission-based camping equipment maker Alite is getting into the java biz. Founder Tae Kim has snagged a space at 18th and Mission, which he plans to have do double duty as a retail shop for Alite and sister brand Boreas and a coffee bar. No word on whose brews he'll be serving, but it's supposed to land this month. [Uptown Almanac]
