Dinner, Whisky and a Movie at The Progress; Aster Pops Up at Coi, Will Open in February

FILLMORE— Local app Chefs Feed has filmed a mini-documentary about the making of The Progress, the new spot from the team who brought you State Bird Provisions. MISSION—Aster, the restaurant from Brett Cooper and Daniel Patterson, seems to finally be on the horizon. Not only will it (hopefully) open its doors in the Mission by the end of February, but diners can get a sneak peek at a series of pop-up dinners at Coi. The four-course prix fixe dinners will take place on Mondays (when Coi is normally closed) on the following days: January 19, January 26, February 2, and February 9.
