MISSION— The newly remodeled Ritual Coffee on Valencia is about to get even more inviting, with the addition of a parklet. Apparently they've been working on the permit for years, a victory for an area with narrow, congested sidewalks. According to the permit, the work will take place sometime in January. [Burrito Justice]
SAN FRANCISCO— Unsurprisingly, San Francisco has at least two places in Food & Wine's list of "America's Best Coffee Bars." Judged on "more than just a well-poured cup," Blue Bottle and North Beach's Caffe Trieste made the list alongside roasters like Intelligentsia and Stumptown and the New Orleans classic Café du Monde. [Food & Wine]
PACIFIC HEIGHTS—Take note, pizza lovers: Pizzeria Delfina is closed for a refresh until January 8. Their other locations in the Mission, Burlingame and Palo Alto will remain open though, so don't freak out. [EaterWire]
SAN FRANCISCO— Just in time to break New Year's resolutions, here's Bold Italic's list of SF's Best Burrito by Neighborhood. La Taqueria lovers will be outraged to see El Farolito listed as the Mission's best burrito, but as the author says, "let us take a moment to appreciate that we live in a land where the avocados are always ripe and the meat is always seasoned."
