MISSION — Cal-Asian restaurant Chino closed for financial reasons. Owner Joe Hargrave plans to turn the space into a Mexican bar concept next year, and is using it as a pop-up and private event space in the meantime. [EaterWire]

MISSION — Indian restaurant Gajalee has closed at 525 Valencia St., and Kobani Mediterranean Grill may be moving in. Gajalee fell off the Michelin Bib Gourmand list this year, indicating it may have declined in quality recently. [Tablehopper]

OUTER RICHMOND — Sadly, Victoria’s Pizzeria at 3605 Balboa St. has closed due to the owner having a serious illness. Victoria’s was open for over 35 years. [Richmond District Blog]

FISHERMAN'S WHARF — Fiddler's Green is pouring its last pint on Saturday, October 31 after the the building sold to a new owner. [EaterWire]

BERKELEY — After 65 long years on Shattuck Avenue serving fast American fare, Oscar's is closing Saturday, October 31 to make way for D.C.-based salad chain Sweetgreen. [Berkeleyside]

OAKLAND — The owners of Claremont Diner at 6200 Claremont Ave. are retiring, and thus, closing the restaurant as of Saturday, October 31. [East Bay Express]

BAYVIEW — According to an Eater tipster and Yelp, the Asian-inflected CDXX on Third Street has closed. No word yet on why. [EaterWire]

POINT REYES — Cattle rancher and local favorite Pine Cone Diner has closed after 19 years of serving breakfast and diner classics to the neighborhood. The owner declined to say why. [Point Reyes Light]

OAKLAND — After 30 years, the Lakeshore Avenue Burrito Shop lost its lease. Thge Rockridge and Castro Valley locations remain open. [East Bay Express]

BERKELEY Le Regal, serving Vietnamese fare on Center Street for over a decade, has closed. And as goes the churning nature of Bay Area restaurants, there’s already a highly-anticipated replacement in the form of The Halal Guys. [Berkeleyside]

BERKELEY — Berkeley is out a barbecue joint in Perdition Smokehouse, which has closed permanently with little explanation. [East Bay Express]

NOPAHerbivore at 531 Divisadero is now closed after 19 years in the neighborhood. Its Mission and Berkeley locations remain open. [Hoodline]

ALAMEDACroll's Pizza & Beer is closing on October 24 after the landlord decided not to renew the lease. Owner Lorenzo Puertas is trying to find a different location for the thin-crust pizzeria. 1400 Bar & Grill, located next door, will be expanding into the space. [Inside Scoop]
