SAN FRANCISCO — As of yesterday, Dinner Lab has taken away its membership fee, opening events up to the general public. So if you were dying to be a member before, but couldn’t stomach the fee, go ahead and sign up now. [EaterWire]

MISSIONLocal Mission Eatery has changed its menu to pair sections with the right wines, and to highlight that, it’s holding “Rare Wine Wednesdays” when small-batch wines like Hardy Wallace’s Dirty & Rowdy wines are discounted by 25 percent. [EaterWire]

SOMA21st Amendment is releasing a new Mexican-style lager called El Sully and celebrating with a Mexican-themed party with mariachi music, piñatas, sombreros and more on Friday October 23 from 4 p.m. to close. [EaterWire]

MISSION — “Sinner’s Hour” at The Vestry at The Chapel kicks off this Friday, October 23 from 5 p.m to 7 p.m. with $9 happy hour cocktails and a “Good and Evil” food menu with dishes like angels and devils on horseback. There will also be live music and burlesque, and it’ll happen every Tuesday through Friday from now on.
