After Petit Crenn's recent accolades, snagging a seat at Dominique Crenn's pristine, dinner party-style restaurant restaurant is more daunting than ever. But for those interested in sampling Crenn's departure from her architectural, poetry-inspired creations at Atelier Crenn, there's a new dining option, starting today.
Breakfast and lunch are joining the party, offering an all-French breakfast and light lunch that are in keeping with Crenn's Breton background. For breakfast, expect simple offerings like buckwheat crepes, soft boiled eggs in those cute little cups, fresh fruit and pastries from Jane bakery; lunch will offer tartines, salads and roasted fish (check out the full menu below). And after receiving a sassy 3.5 stars from Michael Bauer, desperate, reservationless souls will be pleased to learn that no reservations are required for daytime dining, which will either lure line-loving San Franciscans with the promise of a lengthy wait or ensure an easy, breezy neighborhood breakfast spot.
The all-day affair begins with Breakfast at 8 a.m. and lunch at 11 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. Dinner service will continue as usual, with two nightly seatings at 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.; walk-ins are welcome at the a la carte chef's counter from 5 p.m.-10 p.m
