Another long-time San Francisco bar fades away.

In another case of a lost lease, Irish pub Fiddler’s Green in Fisherman's Wharf is closing this Saturday, October 31 after 24 years in the neighborhood. Owner Birute Cassidy told Inside Scoop that the building owner is selling the property, though she doesn’t know what will take the bar’s place. Cassidy will retire after the bar closes out the week serving the regulars that have already been turning out to honor the bar’s long history. “It’s been a really nice community,” Cassidy said.
