Michael and Lindsay Tusk are expanding their Quince and Cotogna empire with a new restaurant just across the street. The Tusks will be taking over the closed wine bar Barrique at 461 Pacific Ave. for a still-unnamed, casual project, Inside Scoop reported. It’ll be more bar than restaurant (though beer and wine only), but there will be some small plates. The concept will be inspired by Michael’s recent travels and the differences in how people eat around the world, and Quince sous chef Neil Stetz will oversee the seasonally-changing menu. As for the space, Mark Jensen (Shed) will design the 2,000-square-feet. Except a spring arrival, and, of course, more details to come.
