Attend Taste of the Bay Tomorrow; Celebrate Beaujolais Nouveau’s Return

SOMATaste of the Bay returns tomorrow with food from Slanted Door, Hog Island Oyster Co. and more, tons of wine, raffles, silent auctions and more. SAN FRANCISCO — Beaujolais nouveau lovers can celebrate its return this Thursday, November 19 at Café Claude, Gaspar Brasserie, Le P'tit Laurent and Left Bank Brasseries, which will all be pouring the wine at a discount. Le P'tit Laurent will have live jazz starting at 6 p.m., Left Bank Brasseries in Larkspur, San Jose and Menlo Park will pour complimentary tastes from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Café Claude is pouring complimentary tastings from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Gaspar Brasserie will have a $45 prix fixe menu with $25 wine pairings.
