Spaghetti Bros. Opens in the Marina With Playful Menu of Regional American Favorites

New, 1 comment

You can stay casual or ball out in the wood-and-plaid space.

Get ready to get your pasta on at Spaghetti Bros., which opens in the Marina on Tuesday, November 3. Owners Erik Lowe and Aaron Toensing (Bix, Fog City) want the restaurant to be many things to many people, whether you're looking to stay casual with mac and cheese and a beer or ball out with a large-format, dry-aged steak and some champagne. The menu takes regional favorites, like toasted ravioli and green chili mac and cheese, and filters them through a playful Northern California lens that results in dishes like housemade spaghetti with three-year-aged Parmesan and — here's that Nor-Cal twist — uni butter. The drink menu is focused on negronis, with a full range of wine, beer and liquor available. Take a look above around the 4,000-square-foot plaid and wood space, which seats 50 in the main dining room and 40 in the bar area.
