Farm League, the restaurant consulting group that helped launch Drake’s Dealership, Westbrae Biergarten, East Bay Spice Company and Tigerlily, is opening a beer garden to be named Arthur Mac’s Tap & Snack. Located in a new mixed use building with shared work and retail spaces near the MacArthur station, the concept takes its name after the nearby BART stop. Arthur Mac’s is a collaboration between Farm League co-founder Joel DiGiorgio and Bcooperative’s Ben Frombgen, who are aiming for a "fun and relaxed setting" with "approachable food and beverage," Inside Scoop reported.
Other tenants will be a coffee shop and three retail shops, plus 25 commercial studios inside 150-square-feet repurposed shipping containers for local offices and start-ups. It should all get off the ground spring 2016; stay tuned for more details.
