Taste the Science of Cocktails; Judge Many Martinis

EMBARCADERO — Attend an evening dedicated to the “Science of Cocktails” at the Exploratorium on Friday, January 22 from 9 p.m. to 12 p.m. The $120 ticket (available here) includes an open bar, hors d'oeuvres and cocktail-related activities.

SONOMA — The 15th annual Martini Madness event is taking place at Saddles Steakhouse on Friday, January 8 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in honor of The Sonoma Valley Olive Festival. Twelve local restaurants and bars will compete for the best use of the olive, most creative and best overall martini, and there will also be olive-inspired appetizers; get your ticket here.
