Mission Restaurants Rally to Support Fire Victims; Feast on Crabs at Tacolicious North Beach

MISSION— In the wake of the devastating fire at 22nd and Mission that displaced many residents, the local food community is rallying in support. After generous donations of food and meals from Bi-Rite, Bar Tartine, Tacolicious and others, the Salvation Army has quickly become the hottest eating spot in town. [MissionLocal]

SAN FRANCISCO— San Francisco's brewery scene is "about to explode," according to Brian Stechschulte of the SF Brewer's Guild. Expect to see an increase in breweries of 80 to 90 percent in the next year or so, as more small breweries and tasting rooms hit the scene. [SF Weekly]
