Taste Amaros at Four Barrel; Help Fire Victims by Drinking at Mini Bar

LOWER HAIGHT— Memphis Minnie's is updating their menu for the first time in 15 years, adding flexibility like the option to order meat by the pound and three sizes for side dishes. They'll also be baking rolls fresh every day, which is definitely a move in the right direction. [Hoodline]

OAKLAND— Every Monday in March (starting tonight), Camino will host Pozole Mondays, a three-course meal ($40) starring the comforting Mexican stew. Tonight's dinner will feature pozole blanco with pork, hominy and chicharrónes, alongside a salad of puntarelle, grilled rutabaga, greens and preserved lime, plus a pomegranate-mezcal sorbet with citrus; the menu will change weekly. MISSION— Four Barrel Coffee will host The Henry Wine Group for an amaro tasting in their community space, Homeroom. A "natural companion to coffee," amaro is a digestif that is gaining massive popularity in America. Don't not get on the bandwagon and give this delicious booze a whirl. ALAMO SQUARE— The displaced victims of January's devastating fire at McAllister and Scott still need our help. Join Mini Bar for a fundraiser, Wednesday, March 3. From 5 p.m.- 9 p.m., the bar will donate part of their proceeds to the Alamo Square Neighborhood Association's Fire Fund. There will be also be a raffle with gift certificates and items from local businesses like Brenda's Meat and Three, Bar Crudo, Little Star and Everlasting Tattoo. [Hoodline]
