Mijita Shutters at AT&T Park After Five Years

After five years, Traci Des Jardins' double play at AT&T Park, Public House and Mijita, is getting downgraded to a single. Des Jardins, who also has Jardiniere, The Commissary, and Arguello in her stable, says that Mijita has shuttered for good at the ballpark to make room for an expansion of Giants Dugout, the team shop located next door. "The Giants wanted to expand their retail operation, and took back the space for that purpose," she says. However, Public House, the American pub half of the restaurant, will remain open and unchanged, as will Mijita's location at the Ferry Building. This means that the majority of Giants fans seeking out Mexican food at a game will have to settle for bringing their own burritos, as the only Mexican concessions in the park are on the Club and Field Club levels.
